The Section of Invertebrate Zoology (IZ) at Carnegie Museum of Natural 
History had a challenge with general audiences not understanding what 
they do, or the critical contribution they make to species management, 
research, and education.

I collaborated with the scientists at the museum to create the “capabilities 
brochure for IZ” (as it was dubbed). This was as much a content development 
effort as it was a design challenge. The final product is a double-sided four-panel 
brochure that can be printed as needed. It has attracted donors and 
collaborators alike.
